No Recipe Recipes

Here are a couple of recipes that came from t.v. that I have to make with my fingers crossed because there is no recipe. But they are really good and I did make them, so of course, I'm sharing!
Compact Turkey Dinner
So I was thinking about this recipe I saw on
Food Networks Diners Drive-ins and Dives.
It was at Comet Cafe in Milwaukee. They make this turkey dinner and fry it, but not like you would think. When I saw it I had to try it, and ended up making a turkey the next weekend just so I could try
this recipe. So I'm gonna share, cause it was really quite good! Probably artery clogging :) but good, and really easy. This would work really well with thanksgiving leftovers.

You take cooked chopped turkey, dressing, and mashed potatoes then mix it together. Make a sort of meatball and roll it in a beer batter then deep fry it. I served it with turkey gravy and it was a big hit! I'm thinking about using this as one of my appetizers at my Christmas party.
Stuffed Poblanos
Ok so here is another one of those recipes where I couldn't even find mention of it anywhere online. My Grandpa called me one day and asked me to look for the recipe he saw Paula Deen make on Food Network. No luck, but we made it anyway from what he remembered and it was really good!
So you take Poblano peppers and cut them open so that they can hold stuffing and be baked. then you make up some bacon and crumble it and then make some cornbread batter (I'm sure your favorite recipe will work here) and then throw in some cheese (I think I used cheddar) Mix it all together, pile it into your peppers and throw the peppers in the oven till the cornbread is done. I found my peppers cooked plenty in the time the cornbread cooked. It was really good, and the pepper wasn't too spicy either. Of course I really like things hot so that's just my opinion. Anyway, I will probably use this for party food too. I love throwing parties :)
